Bongamsa temple Baekundae
It is located within the Bongamsa and it is known as Oksukdae. Luxuriant forest, clear valley, sonorous wood gong and pure and refined scenery sound are harmonious and allow people to forget about earthly agony and leave them at peace. It is famous for being the second to Geumgang mountain manpokdong, seated figure of Maeibosal engraved on the rock of Hwaganam is designated as district intangible cultural asset, Bongamsa is a temple established by greatBuddhist priest during the 5th year of Sinla Heongang King it is famous for being one of the Sinla gusansunmoon, and the Huiyang mountain and Bongamsa valley is national famous for having 3 story high stone pagoda which is the treasure number 169 and other 9 cultural asset and rock wall.
Currently it is off limit to general population because it is a chogye order special ascetic practice place and it will distract monks, however it is opened only on the birthday of Sakyamuni.
